Lanzhou to Lhasa

Lanzhou is the capital city of Gansu province in northwestern China . Lacated at the eastern end of the Hexi Corridor, Lanzhou is a key transportation hub along the ancient silk road. With a history dating back over 2,000 years,  Lanzhou is rich in culture and has a unique blend of ethnicities.

Geographically, Lanzhou is situated along the Yellow River, making it an important city in terms of water resources. The Yellow River flows through the city, dividing it into two parts- north and south. The river also provides a scenic backdrop to the city, with parks and walkways along its banks.

One of the most famous landmarks in Lanzhou is the Zhongshan Bridge, a steel truss bridge built in the early 1900s. The bridge spans the Yellow River and offers stunning views of the river and the surrounding mountains. Another iconic structure in Lanzhou is the White Pagoda Mountain, a hill topped with a white pagoda that can be seen from almost anywhere in the city.
