As of September 28, 2024, Yangzhuoyongcuo Lake, also referred to as Yamdrok Lake, has instituted an admission fee for its viewing platforms and scenic areas. The standard ticket price is set at 120 yuan per person; however, a half-price discount is available, reducing the cost to 60 yuan per individual. Additionally, several groups are eligible for complimentary entry, including active military personnel, police officers, firefighters, journalists (both domestic and international), relatives of martyrs, individuals holding military disability certificates (levels 1 and 2), battle veterans, children under 1.2 meters tall, and seniors aged over 70 years.
During the National Day holiday from October 1 to October 7 in 2024, Namucuo Lake will offer free admission to all visitors. It is important to note that this complimentary access does not extend to secondary consumption items such as through-train services within the scenic area. Tourists are required to make reservations ten days in advance via the official WeChat public account “Zhiyou Tibet.”
